THE CLIENT AND THE CHALLENGE

A significant moment for Kappa® occurred during the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, when the American track and field team wore Kappa® sportswear and brought home a grand total of 50 medals; 26 golds; 15 silvers and 9 bronzes. To celebrate their 30th year since this sponsorship, Kappa® enlisted the help of BARDS to launch a new capsule shoe collection.

THE RESULTS

We began by seeking to better understand what Kappa® hoped to achieve from the campaign, and how they wanted to be perceived in the crowded sneakers market. We then produced an animated video and social media assets to promote the trainers.
